France Bans Smartphones in School

An overwhelming 62-1 vote on Monday prohibiting students aged between 3 and 15 from bringing their devices in school by the Lawmakers in France didn't surprise me at all. The ban is in support of the campaign to reduce addiction to electronics. The mInister of education I France called these mobile devices a public health crisis and children should be protected from it.
Many lawmakers though believe that the ban would not bring about change. So they are planning to do more regarding this law for students ages 15 and up.
We all know that addiction to these devices can bring about a lot of negative impact to our children and the youth. And sometimes even to adults. I believe France made a good move in having this ban.
