Disney land

.

Disneyland Paris, originally Euro Disney Resort, is an entertainment resort in Marne-la-Vallée, a new town located 32 km (20 mi) east of the centre of Paris, and is the most visited theme park in all of Europe. It is owned and operated by Euro Disney S.C.A., a publicly traded company in which The Walt Disney Company owns a controlling stake.[2] The resort covers 4,800 acres (19 km2)[3] and encompasses two theme park, many resort hotels, a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex, and a golf course, in addition to several additional recreational and entertainment venues. Disneyland Park is the original theme park of the complex, opening with the resort on 12 April 1992. A second theme park, Walt Disney Studios Park, opened in 2002. The resort is the second Disney park to open outside of the United States following the opening of the Tokyo Disney Resort in 1983.
There first Disney land outside America opened 3 and half decades ago and it wasn't in Europe but the second Disney resort opened in Japan.

The original plans for the park were on 8 acres next to the Burbank studios where Walt Disney and his employees and families could go to relax.

Finally in 1953, he had the Stanford Research Institute conduct a survey for a 100-acre site, outside of Los Angeles. He needed space to build rivers, waterfalls, and mountains; he would have flying elephants and giant teacups;a fairy-tale castle, moon rockets, and a scenic railway; all inside a magic kingdom he called “Disneyland.”

The “magical little park” was really a $17,000,000 “Magic Kingdom.” Walt’s dream had come true and Disneyland was ready to open
In 1955.

Now there are 6 Disney land resort around the world including in Hong Kong and shanghai.

Bilston The first option was Salou (Spain), but due to discrepancies on the land to yield, they chose to move to Paris, probably with significant financial aid to promote France as a tourist destination.
