Butterfly visitor

For an hour there was this butterfly visitor out in my front yard a few weeks ago. I was able to get some amazing photos with my Nikon Coolpix S70.

There is special meaning behind this visitor, as to me it represents a friend who passed away back in 2002 in a car accident. Her name is Amanda, and her mother, her sister and I associate her presence with butterflies.

I feel extremely lucky to be able to get this close and spend so much time with such a beautiful being. Whenever I get to spend this special time up close with butterflies it makes me feel completely calm and at peace with everything.
