Once again B.J Robinson weaves a tale of love weaved in parts with mystery.
Josssette (Jo) Breaux is an airboat tour guide who finds trouble when two customers get into an argument and one shoves the other into the alligator infested Bayou, they rarely have a crime as serious as a murder in Gumbo, Louisiana but that night.
Jo's problem was Victor Blanchard and Bernard Beregon are fighting for her attention. Bernard is her best friends brother they have been friends for years. Bernard is a good man with a lot of love to offer! But he doesn't have a nice home offer only a run down camp on the Bayou. Cypress Backwater Hideaway was given to him by his parents.
Victor has a mansion called Sugarcane Plantation but he is controlling like his Father. A handsome man with blue eyes and dark hair he could have any girl he wants but he wants the one he can't have.
Soon though Jo finds more bodies on the bayou, a local fisherman and two men left for dead on the side of the road. Is there a Bayou serial killer on the loose.
B.J Robinson weaves stories that pull you in and don't let you in.
I give Cypress Backwater Hideaway five out of five stars!
Happy Reading!
