Amazing place in Romania,, The Keys of Banitei.

Cheile Banitei,, The Keys of Banitei,
((photos taken for me 2 years ago. no edit)
A spectacular place, a limestone show in the Sureanu Mountains, Hunedoara - Romania.
One of the most beautiful places in Romania to visit.
Keys are quite short (250-300 meters) but extremely spectacular, their most beautiful part being just the beginning. The Banite River dug a narrow aisle and sometimes meandered between the white limestone walls. It's actually a former cave whose ceiling has collapsed. In the riverbed and in the lower area the limestone walls are beautifully sculpted and rounded by the waters of the river, which in some places also dug a few spectacular marmites (rock splinters in the form of a spoon / polonium but of tens of centimeters and even meters).
As the walls are quite steep, the easiest way to visit the keys is to go through the water. In rainy or spring weather, access to the gorges is more difficult, the water level being higher, but in normal conditions, in the summer, the water does not pass much by the knee. WARNING High water must not be discharged. A bunch of "surprises" await us underwater - twisted beasts, shards, cans and other wonderful creations. It's best to have a pair of sandals, slippers.
