Luggage theft by airport authorities

Going on a long or short trip abroad means carrying luggage and the last thing you do at the airport is check in luggages so many passengers who have experienced this before about luggage theft or heard it on the internet and boarding a plane is feeling very anxious over his or her luggage might go theft at the destination airport which currently happens and third world countries it's where it most likely to happen for example in Bangladesh,Nigeria and Indonesia and so on. The theft is committed by the local or the international airport authorities and this is distressing for passengers and nothing the government can do about it.
Most likely the reason behind this theft is when passengers are taking goods which are doubt to be valuable the custom authorities find no tax has been paid on the goods and therefore they hold back the luggage and it's presumably theft.
