My Favorite Salad
I am on a diabetic, low fat, low cholesterol. and low salt diet. Sounds intimidating doesn't it? For the first few days I was trying to figure out just what I could eat. With so many restrictions I was sure there was nothing left out there for me to eat.
A little research brought me to the Whole30 diet. It was perfect for me. I found out there are a lot of things I can eat.
For example - every item in this salad is allowable. It contains avocado, green peppers, black olives, and tiny tomatoes. You just throw them in the bowl, mix them with a vinaigrette dressing and you have a delicious filling meal.
I am now experimenting with many different foods to make my diet diversified and tasty. One of the best parts is I am feeling so much better. And I have been steadily losing weight.
