Unique hurch in the village of Dobarsko /Bulgaria/

In the small village of Dobarsko, located 12 km. from Razlog there is a unique medieval church "St. St. Teodor Tiron and Theodor Stratilat ". The temple was declared a cultural monument of UNESCO. *The church was built in 1614, but there are conjectures that the year of construction is 1122. The frescoes and the authentic architecture of the temple are striking. The obscene appearance of the church is compensated by its inner rich decoration and gentleness. Impress the rich frescoes and images of over 460 Biblical and native heroes. Dominate the saints wars like St. Dimitar, St. Theodore Tyron, Theodor Stratilat and others. It is obvious that there was a whole group working here - first-master, janitor and apprentices. The frescoes the craftsmen have painted are more than impressive. *The most interesting of them is the "Transfiguration of the Lord" scene, depicting Jesus Christ as an astronaut. It flies to the sky in a body resembling a modern space rocket from which a fire escapes as it does when the current spacecraft launches. Under the feet of Christ, the outlines of the atmosphere and the stratosphere are visible. The aerodynamic forms of the aircraft are very accurately drawn. In the perfect state is the other unique icon of God's astronaut story line, namely "the resurrection of God." On it, Christ descends to Hell and raises the dead. He takes to the surface in a space capsule similar to the one with which the astronauts return to Earth. *Unique frescoes make historians guess. Some of the theories emphasize modernity, and many of the frescoes are strange. According to some descriptions, the haloes of the saints resemble helmets, and some of them have Western armor - albedra and helmets. There are strange symbols like swastikas on the facade of the temple.
*And something even more mysterious - the church is built to be a natural air conditioner that keeps temperatures in the amplitudes enough for the storage of frescoes in the winter and summer. Without air conditioning, these frescoes look as if they were painted yesterday.
