Bansko ski resort - Bulgaria

Bansko is a town in Southwest Bulgaria, at the foot of the North Pirin at 927 m above sea level. The climate is mountainous and allows the snow cover to be held from December to April and the alpine character of the Pirin mountain provides excellent conditions for professional and amateur skiing. There are 75 km of ski runs in Bansko, 35% for beginners, 40% for advanced and 25% for experienced skiers and snowboarders. Snowmobiles equipped with 80% of the tracks. The ski season is guaranteed from December to May. The ski center also offers a 16 km ski track equipped with artificial snow and lighting machines connecting the high parts of the resort with the city. There is also a cabin lift, a 6-seat lift, six 4-seater chair lifts, a 3-chair lift, six ski-lifts and ten children's ski-lifts.
