Tibidabo's airplane will land for the first time in 88 years

.
The airplane or "L'avió" is one of the most iconic rides in Barcelona's Theme Park, Tibidabo. It's a reproduction of the real airplane that took passangers between Barcelona and Madrid with some differences like the number of engines. The original airplane was a Rohrbach Ro VIII Roland.
This airplane was completed in 1928, built by Estrada works in Sarrià, designed by Fath Engineers and supervised by Marià Rubió.
As an interesting fact, the airplane moves by it's own helix and it still has and original radio installed in 1933.
The airplane will the renewed and will be "flying" again in April this year.
