The many Mantis

My yard is a haven of Praying Mantises? Praying Mantiss? Praying Manti? I'm not sure the proper plural term for many mantis.
Anyway, I have been documenting the Praying Mantis every year in my yard for the past 3 or 4 years now. I track the population, when they are bigger, I hold and feed them, I form bonds with certain ones, almost like pets, but not because they are never in a cage. \
I wanted to make this article and share some of my favorite Praying Mantis photos that I have taken over the past few years. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed photographing them.
