Why does hair turn gray?

.
Age is something we can not avoid or stop and we all have gray hair at some point in our lives, but why does this happen? How can we prevent this?

Why it happens ?

The hair is first white, and then the formation of a pigment called melanin happens to have two pigments: one is dark and one is light. When these two are mixed they create different colors, that's why we all have different hair colors.

Melanin is in each hair follicle on our scalp, graying occurs when the melanin-producing cells called melanocytes become less active or there are no cells on the left to produce the color.

There are certain factors that can change hair pigmentation and increase aging:

1.Genetics:

It is not something that is known as premature aging: people with perfectly healthy hair that gray in their 20s. This can sometimes be caused by the following reasons, as well as stress, but mostly everything is in the genes.

The genes determine when you will receive your first hair, the same as baldness. Genes regulate the pigmentation potential of each individual hair follicle

2.Smoking:

It is known that the rate of aging increases since smokers are 4 times more likely to have gray hair.

3.Anemia, lack of B vitamins, it is not about the thyroid and other medical conditions can cause premature aging.

4.Some conditions and medications affect your body, as well as your hair.

5. Age: With age comes a reduction in melanin. The hair turns gray and finally white.

6. Hydrogen peroxide. This chemical is based on hair shafts, which can lead to a gradual loss of hair color

Natural solutions:

- Onion juice mixed with lemon juice

It sounds weird, but it is a powerful natural gray hair remedy: Onion juice is rich in the catalase enzyme and has been used for centuries as a topical treatment and home remedy for gray hair. In fact, herbalists have been advising their patients to rub the onions on their scalp to cure long gray hair before the hair dyes have been invented!

Another very good natural remedy for gray hair: Mix a little castor oil and lemon juice until it becomes foamy then add a little henna. Apply the mixture to the hair and scalp and leave on for at least an hour before washing and washing the hair. Repeat every day.
