English Daisies

English Daisies are an beautiful herbaceous perennial plants with short creeping rhizomes and rosettes of small rounded or spoon-shaped leaves that are from 3/4 to 2 inches long and grow flat to the ground.

The flowerheads are composite, in the form of a pseudanthium with white ray florets and yellow disc florets.

This beautiful and delicate flowers means a loyal love, gentleness or even innocence, depends on who will give them to you!

In Medieval times, the English Daisies were commonly known as "Mary's Rose". It is also known as bone flower.


They can generally be grown in USDA Zones 4 - 8 (i. e. where minimum temperatures are above −30°F ) in full sun to partial shade conditions, and requires low or no maintenance.
They can generally be grown in most well-drained soils.

This beautiful flowers have been used in the traditional Austrian medicine internally as tea for treatment of disorders of the gastrointestinal and respiratory tract. Did you know that its young leaves can be eaten raw in salads or even cooked? It's a fact!
