Boredom setting in: This election about as exciting as watching paint dry!

Oh dear as Brenda from Bristol said the other night "What another election"? After seeing her rant on the news her appearance went viral and I don't think the 75-year-old even knew what had hit her or how popular/unpopular she had become overnight.
Obviously, she had heard of Twitter and Facebook but admitted not being up on today's technology with the most sophisticated bit of tech she had was her television and not a modern slimline one at that.
But anyway I digress the point she was making is after Brexit referendums, Scottish referendums and a general election of 2015 many people have had enough of political elections or votes of one sort or another.
I find watching Theresa May chuntering out the same old mantra about making a country that works for everyone and using the words repeated ad nausea about a strong and stable country boring. I want to go throw myself in the nearest lake and end it all because that is how it makes me feel.
Nicola Sturgeon will talk about Scotland this and Scotland that, Tim Farron and Jeremy Corbyn two men I have some time for will just talk about how better the country could be under them. While Paul Nuttall of UKIP another party I still partly support will struggle to make himself heard because he is not Nigel Farage.
So here we go, folks, another 7 weeks of electioneering.

Bilston › Maybe, just msybe, if the entire British population would have accepted the result of the Brexit referendum, this election would not have been called.

1. How the governing party can call elections when it suits them best, favouring them of course.
2. the poor quality of modern politics. This caught opposition off guard and they're not up to it. They just prepare a play and they act until the next campaign starts, instead of doing proactive politics.
