Is North Korea next?

With the aftermath of the missile strike on Syria still reverberating the papers and news outlets, in general, are asking is North Korea next?
Kim Jong-un it seems is an unknowable quantity, is he a madman or is he genius? Either way, he is playing a dangerous game with the West well-known for his saber rattling with his test firing of missiles and his nuclear tests.
From day one before and after Trump became President he said he was prepared to talk to Kim face to face if he played ball. But it seems during the Obama era and now the Trump era Kim seems to want a long range missile system badly and wants to be a nuclear power so North Korea can run with the big boys in the nuclear club.
It would seem now an American fleet with an aircraft carrier is steaming towards the Korean Peninsula and it seems with this Trump is keeping his options open.
The US administration has been studying its objectives towards North Korea and not all the plans on the table are warlike. However, that said it seems with the American fleet in the Pacific in the Korean region they are making it clear to the North Koreans and the Chinese and all interested parties that the US can use its military at a moment's notice.

ze2000 › We tend to think that enemies are "stupid" because... they're the enemy! Numbers in hand, we should fear more USA than North Korea.
