Tanglad or Lemon Grass
Tanglad as we call it in our dialect but universally known as Lemon Grass.
Our eldest son is a good cook. When he took a 3-month vacation in our place, he always prepared or cooked foods using this tanglad. The foods taste better. Thus, a good food flavoring.
This tanglad is a native to other Asian countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, and India.
Others claim that this culinary grass has some medicinal benefits the users may get by brewing like a tea preparation. It is also a good source of oil to get rid of insects. A good pesticide too as the farmers may claim.
