Learning to relax is a skill

.
Hi everyone.

After publishing about meditation, I thought about a few tips for you to learn (if you still don't know or didn't try)how to relax after a stressful day ?

Start with short relaxation sessions, around five minutes.

With more experience it will be easier for you to be able to relax for longer periods of time. ?

With practice you can build up to 20 to 30 minutes, and you may wish to relax for even longer.

Remember, relaxation is a skill that has to be learned. Like any other new skill it takes practice, so practice as often as you can, but everyday is the best of course.?

Set a time to relax each day, perhaps before bedtime or first thing in the morning. Initially, practice relaxation when you are feeling calm.?

Try to find somewhere that is quiet and free of distractions. It’s also worth trying out different relaxation techniques to see which one works best for you.

Any questions, just ask and I'll try to answer you!

Have a nice evening!

Time to relax and sleep ?? thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it ?

And thanks to one of my best friends who showed me the path to the meditation and all of this ?Deborah ? the best teacher ??

HappyLady I agree that learning to relax is a life skill. Without seeing your article I just wrote about dealing with stress as being a life skill too. We must be on the same page.
