Chinese tv series or Chinese dramas

For people who don't like or are getting tired of Korean tv series or Korean dramas, there is a substitute and that comes in a form of Chinese tv series or Chinese dramas.
So, what Chinese dramas or, in short, C-dramas have to offer.
Watching Chinese Mandarin movies as a teenager, I might be subjective on this matter yet, this is how I see it. Standard Chinese Mandarin drama is 45 minutes long (if we skip an intro and the ending song, it's even shorter). Since there were many Chinese dynasties, historical Chinese dramas are very versatile. To me, there is a fair number of modern and historical, fantasy and other C-dramas. Even though the plot is lacking, songs are amazing. Camera shoots (not surprising) are extremely well handled and, frequent times, you'll find yourself enchanted. Not to mention costumes, which are always great and unique.
Some of the bad sides. Chinese dramas' market is huge and not many dramas "get to see the light of the day". Many dramas are look alikes, which gets tiring. If a main male lead is good in one drama, it doesn't mean he will be good in every drama. Each drama has between 45 and 60+episodes. Currently I'm watching "The Ashes of Love". This drama has ended, which is a good things cause, I can watch it faster. Well, I'm on episode 13 and it's a long way to the top :(
Never mind. Chinese dramas makes you goofy and childish, makes you envious of unusual clothing or more, many technological equipment in colours. For example, a pink laptop. Have you seen it? I haven't. Having watched about 20 Chinese dramas, I could suggest you the next:
- Love Me If You Dare (criminal and romance drama)
- Journey of Flower (wuxia, fantasy and romantic drama)
- Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms or Eternal Love (extremely popular last year's fantasy and romantic drama)
- Princess Wei Young (historical and romantic drama)
- Ice Fantasy (fantasy, romantic and wuxia drama)

frenchqueen › When I was a kid we had this local channel that shows Chinese tv shows or drama or series every Sunday. That was in the 80s. Didn’t like it. Never a fan.
