Terror - why? what? who?

.
In our modern day lives, terror is becoming the norm. we often hear about this on the news, or while browsing the internet. Brussels, Paris, London, are only three of the many hundred places that have been effected by terror. Is the Islamic religion to blame? Or is that just an easy thing to blame it on? The Quran states that "Terrorism is above all murder", which in itself tells us that terrorism has no place in Islam. So why does it happen? ISIS, which is one of the many well known terrorist groups, judging by the name (Islamic State), wants to build some kind of 'superstate', they want recognition by the rest of the world and for all Muslims to recognise its version of Islam. ISIS believes a prophecy from the Prophet Muhammad means the end of the world is coming. The 1,300-year-old prophecy says the Day of Judgement will come after an epic battle between Christians and Muslims.

So in short, they're a minority group of people of the Muslim faith that want to take over the world and say the Quran has told them to.

ze2000 It is said that Islam is religion of peace. Hard to believe when you see verses like this:

Quran (2:191-193) - "And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief or unrest] is worse than killing... but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun(the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)"
