Location of the lake "Mladost" within Macedonia
Mladost (or Velesko Lake) - an artificial lake north of the city of Veles, on land owned by the Republic of Macedonia. The traffic access is via asphalted local road from the direction of Veles which goes along the lake shore, passes through the dam and continues to the highway Skopje-Veles. Within the site there is an asphalt road linking the local road with the motel complex. At the end of the lake itself many many visited and famous places work: the motel "Romantic", and on the waters of the lake itself a motel-restaurant works on the ship "Panini". The lake was built for the purpose of irrigation of vineyards and agricultural plantations in the environment that often suffered from drought in the past.

Today, the lake "Mladost" is a very visited tourist resort. The site is connected to the local 10 kW network, to it there is a telephone network. In hydrographic terms, the locality is located beside the accumulation "Mladost" on the river Otovica, left tributary of the river Vardar. The urban planning of the lake includes: a satellite settlement for housing, commercial contents, catering and a recreation and recreation area. The lake is mostly visited for sport fishing (there are fish: carp, catfish, scarf, boyfriend), picnics and picnics for holidays such as May 1, Ilinden and bathing in the summer months. On the shore of the lake there is a camp with trailers and tents in which people often stay in the summer. A number of holiday homes are still being built around the lake. The surrounding hills are forested with dense pine forests which contributes to the pleasant ambience of the lake.
