Gardening in the City

Living in the city sometimes would deprive you of your gardening hobby. There is often the problem of space. This however did not hinder me to pursue my gardening passion. Despite space and insuffuciency of good soil material, I was able to grow cucumbers, eggplants, lettuce, arugula, mustard and many other vegetables and herbs in the front of our house here in a subdivision in Bacolod City.

I gatherd empty cement bags and filled them with all kinds of dried leaves and weeds I pulled from everywhere. Then I put in soil that I got from the place and filled in some good soil which I bought from a gardening shop. Then presto, I was able to plant and nurture my vegetables.
