The Wondrous Sunset

The Sunset

While we were heading home from Barangay Tagukon, Kabankalan City, here in Negros Occidental, Philippines, we were met by a wondrous, amazing view of the sunset. To appreciate, this wonder of nature, I composed a poem reflecting of those things that what we had left in the past which has nothing to give us but memories.

The Sunset

Looking at the sunset
My heart throbs longing for the past
What methinks is a mindset
Of yesteryears with friends that last

But they're gone
Some were nowhere to find
So what should be done?
They're sweet memories in sunset behind.
