Longboard

Longboard is a sport equipment that is similar but not the same as skateboard though most people still call it a skateboard but it's actually not. It's much faster and more sturdier than a skateboard because it has bigger wheels and the board can be of the same size with the skateboard but it's mostly longer.
It is used for downhill race, like the one in the photo of my son, called Longboarding. It's also commonly used for cruising. We actually call this as surfing on land because you manoeuvre it almost similar to that of a wave surf.
I like longboards than skateboards because it's easier to balance with the board. The board comes in different shapes and styles depending on how you wish to use it. There are pintail flex, flat nose, drop through, etc.
It's actually a dangerous sport and it's not for the faint hearted.
