Honesty still works in him

.
Huge money could make or unmake you but not him

"For the love of money is the root of all evil." (1 Timothy 6:10, kjv)

Generally speaking money is good. It is the medium of exchange a user may avail of to pay the things he needed.

It may earn in any ways by working in a legal way. It may be done in surreptitiously but the the doer must suffer the consequences.

Thus sorrows may come if it leads to amass a huge of it that longing for it is unstoppable. The love of it brings one downfall.

I thought a hefty sum of money may tempt an elderly to keep it and spend it for personal gain. But I am wrong. I never expect that this will be ignored by such person.

I am talking of honesty shown by Thomas Fahling, a 73 years old from Minnesota. He was surprised to know that his bank account has received a deposit of $150,000 USD from unknown person.

He didn't touch it. He's confident that it's an error. So he requested the bank to trace that unknown deposit. And it's found outb that it's a fund for small businesses affected by Covid pandemic and it is erroneously credited to his bank account.

If you were in his place, what are you going to do with that big money?
