The Spanish team Atletico de Madrid has announced that they will renew the shield team the same day as they announced the name of the new stadium.
On January of the 2015, the group Dalian Wanda Group bought the 20% of the social capital. Since that day, they've decided that they would renew the image of the club by changing the shield to a more stylistic and simple model and building the new stadium, which it will be called by the name of Wanda Metropolitano and will be located in the Madrid district of San Blas - Canillejas.
The new stadium will have 10.000 seats more than the old one, the legendary Vicente Calderon which had 67.000. Finally, it will open on the next season, in 2018.
