Who invented the cooker

.

Cook stoves are commonly used for cooking and heating food in developing countries. Electric cooker – an electric powered cooking device for heating and cooking of foodGas stove (British English) – uses natural gas, propane, butane, liquefied petroleum gas or other flammable gas as a fuel source. Induction cooker – heats a cooking vessel with induction heating, instead of infrared radiation from electrical wires or a gas flame as with a traditional cooking stove. Kitchen stove (British English)

Originally heated by slow-burning coal, the Aga cooker was invented in 1922 by the Nobel Prize–winning Swedish physicist Gustaf Dalén (1869–1937), who was employed first as the chief engineer of the Swedish AGA company (Swedish Aktiebolaget Svenska Gasaccumulator, English Swedish Gas Accumulator, Limited).

In 1679, the French physicist Denis Papin, better known for his studies on steam, invented the steam digester in an attempt to reduce the cooking time of food. His airtight cooker used steam pressure to raise the water's boiling point, thus cooking food much more quickly.

If by cooking, you mean processing by early humans who discovered fire .25 to 2.3 million ... Was cooking a creative invention or an evolutionary signal?

It's from the prehistoric time a simple fire used to cook leaded to the invention of cooker.

ze2000 I suppose the cooking of the meat was more of a coincidence. When humans discovered fire they would try to throw anything at it. When throwing carcases of dead animals they saw that hair was quickly burned to they would use this to "clean" the hair of the meat before eating. Then they discovered the difference in texture, easier to eat by, by cooking the meat.

Just my humble theory :)
