Scrub Suit is Not Healthy to Wear in Public

Some medical practitioners are forgetting something. I am sure some of you are aware that medical staff wears the scrub suit in the hospital facility. They tend to attend their patients who are sick secondary to certain diseases. Thus, they are exposed to different bacteria or virus that can be pathogenic in nature. If the medical staff uses this scrub suit to the public, he or she might be the carrier of the pathogens and it might affect the healthy individuals. The number of affected people will increase like fire.

This is the basic awareness that needs to be known in public especially the medical practitioners. At some point, the scrub suit should not be worn outside the hospital facility. It is considered used clothing materials. The hospital staff should have their own lockers to keep these scrub suits. It would be ideal if the hospital will provide people who can laundry the clothes. But then, the people-in-charge should also be protected against bacteria or virus that could to illnesses.

I am sure that some healthcare facilities are aware of this but continued to ignore the real facts. It is a simple protocol that needs to consider by the hospital administration. If they are advocating health, then it is better to consider this delicate matter. It can spread certain illnesses without any precautions. It can be alarming if the disease leads to full-blown. We can never tell the impact of this. As they said, “safety first.” Then, we should be aware that wearing scrub suits should not be used in public. We can’t turn back time if the people got certain diseases and the carrier continued to spread because of wearing the used scrub suits from the hospital.

There are some instances that medical practitioners ignore this. They think it is an outfit to be identified as healthcare providers. They should consider the welfare of other people’s health and it should not be a selfish act. c",)
