The wonderof sunsets.

I took this picture in the back yard of my nephew's house in Pennsylvania. He lives in a beautiful development and backs up to a farm. On this particular day, it had been hot all day and we were sitting inside drinking wine and beer.
It was a wonderful relaxed time. As the night drew closer we stepped outside and noticed the sun setting. There was a soft breeze and a calmness in the air. It was amazing to watch the sun slowly move below the horizon and see the sky turn orange and red.
I often marvel at how nature and the world around us provides us with so much beauty - we simply have to notice it. I was lucky enough to have my camera with me and snapped this shot seconds before the sun disappeared.
If you look closely you'll see a small bird in the branches of the tree also checking out the view.
