Antoni Gaudi i Cornet was a Catalan architect born in Reus in 1852.
He is known for the buildings that he designed, as la Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, Parc Guell, Casa Mila and few more.
He is considered the father of the Catalan Modernism, along with Lluis Domenech i Muntaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch.
La Sagrada Familia hasn't been finished yet and is still in construction since 1882. It is scheduled to be finished in 2026, exactly a century after Gaudi's death.
He was ran over by a tramway at the age of 73.
