Beating the Summer Heat

Summertime, and the Weather Is Hot - We beat the scorching heat of the sun last Sunday when we held the birthday party of our third daughter at the Linaw Bubong.
The cool, fresh running water of the mountain spring of Linaw Bubong at Barangay San Miguel, one of the 14 barangay in the small city of La Carlota where we live.
We brought our family service van in transporting us there. When we arrived there, the place was full of people. The road entrance was blocked by numerous vehicles. We found a hard time where to park our service van.
Anyway, everything was okay.
This kind of season reminds me the song of Mungo Jerry, "In the Summertime" (1970), particularly these lines: "In the summertime when the Weather is hot..."
