On this date in 1990, Beverly Hills 90210, tv series had its premier on Fox television. Starring Shannen Doherty (Brenda), James Priestly (Brandon), Luke Perry (Luke), Jennie Garth (Kelly) and others, the series get recognized and series' actors got really famous.
Produced by Ian Spelling, Tori Spelling's (Donna) father, it was a typical teenage series about life and love. In 10 seasons and 293 episodes, series lasted up to May 17, 2000.
I loved The Walsh family, where Brandon and Brenda belonged. Their Parents, Jim and Cindy seemed always caring and interested in their children's lives.
Although many of the main actors left the show earlier than usual (due to feuds on the set or something else), their roles, in a way, stayed in our minds. I mean, Luke as a bad boy, Brandon as Mr. Perfect, David as nerdy dj and many more similarities.
Ah, the 90s ... :)
