A famous landmark in our city - Borongan in Eastern Samar Philippines, the spot is called "Sawang" where the Church, the City Hall, and the commercial establishments are located. It is the heart of the city.
I love the place and it is my hometown. A typical place where it faces the Pacific Ocean, home of beautiful beaches and gorgeous landmarks, a historic place as well. It is a paradise indeed.
And of course the people are kind and very hospitable to the visitors. You'll leave the place wearing a smile.
The locals are called Waraynon and the dialect we speak is Waray-waray, but the English is widely used in the city, especially in school and in workplaces.
