Will Rafa Nadal Win His 10th French Open Title?

.
29th May 2017 - Will Rafa Nadal win his 10th French Open?

The first opponent to stand in his way is France's Benoit Paire. Although that's not a name that immediately springs to mind when thinking of tennis, Benoit had a recent win over Stan Wawrinka that makes this an interesting match with Nadal.

Both players enjoy the speed of clay so keep your eyes peeled for some fast shots.

Nadal has experience and skill on his side whereas Paire has the home crowd and risk taking on his. Two different styles that should make for a great match to watch.

Personally, I think Nadal will cruise it. I hope he wins :)

After the game - Bye bye Paire.

31st May 2017 - Rafa's game today is scheduled for 14.15 so don't miss it if you enjoy watching a real pro.

Robin Haase of the Netherlands is chancing his luck against Rafa this time. Now 46 in the world, he has recently been slipping in the rankings so, hopefully, he won't pose too much of a problem for Rafa.

My money is on The King of Clay!

After the game - Bye bye Haase.

2nd June 2017 - Today Rafa plays Nikoloz Basilashvili, a tennis hopeful from Georgia. His highest ranking is 63 so, again, his name doesn't immediately spring to mind when thinking of tennis.

Basilashvili has competed twice before in the French Open, suffering defeat in round 1 both times.

All the signs point to a Nadal victory. Good wishes to both players (but I hope Rafa wins).

After the game - Rafa won in straight sets. He only dropped one game! It took just 90 minutes to defeat Basilashvili.

Spare some sympathy for Basilashvili who was totally outclassed. Never mind, he can try again next year.

Bye bye Basilashvili.

SimeyC He does seem to be the form player on Clay (Oh and just happens to be the best ever on clay too!) - so I think he'll probably win it! I'm hoping Andy Murray finds some form and gives him a run for his money!
