Why I love baking cakes.

Baking cakes have many perks. Why go buy cakes when you can do it yourself. I have absolutely no problems when someone asks me to bake a cake. My favorite is from scratch. Even though it is quiker if you purchase the cake mix from the store. I love coming up with my own flavors. It is also a plus when my children or my grand children help. It is like I have no cares in the world when I am in baking mode. When it comes to cakes I have done them for birthdays,baby showers to just because. One of my best cakes was a friend's wedding cake. I was so tickled when she asked me to do it. I love baking cakes just so that we can all gather and enjoy each other's company. You should try it. I bet you will be great at it. The key to it is if you do think it is done to others perfection you get to be the taste tester. It should only take a couple couple of times and you get to eat it. Just never give up @Shavkat
