The Anemone

A quiet anemone tirelessly waving
Its gentle tentacles under the sea
Looks bright and pretty I see
Hoping Mr. Clown fish will come to see

The shy anemone joyfully dancing
But realized its own immobility
Looks rather sad and pale
Upon the thought that no one is out to play

The day went by oh
Still no Mr. Clownfish came
The sad anemone kept humming
Hoping, humming a sweet tune

The sun went down now
A school of fish passed
This little anemone looked on
A bit sad yet hopeful

Looking forward for another day
Maybe meet a new friend
To share the fun waving
Dancing, humming, laughing and bubbling
