Now it´s turn to talk about one of my favourite desserts!
It´s called Merengue and it´s really popular in switzerland, Italy, France and Spain. It is made with whipped egg whites and sugar.
It is a light and sweet dessert. Normally is chewy, soft in the interior and crispy in the outside.
It has been claimed that was invented in a swiss town called Meiringen, and improved by an italian chef called Gasparini in the 18th Century.
The varieties are: Italian Merengue, French Merengue and Swiss Merengue.
The best of all is that you can put it with any dessert, it fits everywhere and is Fat Free.
I strongly recommend everyone to try it. I really love it.
