Botanical Garden Jevremovac is a botanical garden in Belgrade, Serbia. It has the status of a category II nature monument and is protected as a cultural monument.Botanical Garden Jevremovac with a large glass garden has significant architectural and cultural-historical values. It is the first and so far the only botanical garden in Serbia whose establishment is related to one of the most famous names of the Serbian botanist - Josif Pancic.The botanical garden is 4,8183 hectares and contains about 1,000 plant species, a glass garden of 500 m² (built in 1892).According to a few studies, it was found that the Bašta is based on sedimentary neogena consisting of marlstone sandstone and clay. The thickness of these sediments is very large.Botanical Garden Jevremovac was declared a natural monument of great importance. On May 18, 2004, a Japanese garden was opened - a collection of far eastern flora. The authors of the garden are Vera and prof. dr Mihailo Grbić, landscape architects.
