Between mango and apple

.

The doctor and singer Jesus Sevillano, one of the best tenor voices in Venezuela, performs a song composed by the Venezuelan composer Carlos Mendoza called "El mango", whose first verses say:

What would I like to eat, between mango and apple /,
I will respond to my friend, that the mango gives me more desire, /
I will respond to my friend, that the mango gives me more desire, /

And other verses say later:

that a delicate woman who eats mango is indecent, /
because it dirtied the hands and strands left between their teeth./
Because it dirties the hands and strands it leaves between its teeth.

Friend, that's not a reason, if the mango was imported,

I assure you I ate it, without taking that care.

I assure you I ate it, without taking that care.

That's why I published some lines earlier where I asked "What would you like to eat between the mango and the apple?"
