Commuting in PUV, Good or Bad?

Commuting in PUV, Good or Bad?

We belong to an ordinary citizen in our small city. We don't have a car to commute to a distant place like the capital city. When we want to go for shopping, we have to take the public utility vehicle or the bus from our place then a passenger jeepney to the mall. We just only spend the money for our fare. No worries about the fuel, the car maintenance and everything.

We have to be on time to catch up for the passenger vehicle and to avoid the rush as well as the convenient of taking a seat. When we do that, we don't have to stand for an hour to reach the capital city. Same with when we are going home.

While sitting we may have time to take a nap, to ponder something or to talk with my companion till we reach our destination. However, since it is a public utility transport, we couldn't avoid the noise from other passengers, their annoying conversations, and the loud voice of the conductor to check those who are going to get off and to get everyone's fare.

We never mind the inconveniences which we may encounter everytime we commute. The worse, however, that we may experience when our service bus gets stalled, under trouble, gets flat tire, among others. We couldn't blame the driver for it's not his fault unless it is his negligence.
